This dome building is a future residence and shop and will be mostly buried in the ground. The structure spans 61’ at the base is 20’ tall at the peak and 156’ long.
All the excavation, form work and rebar installation was performed by the owners. The site was a forested parcel. The owners cleared the area and milled the lumber for all of the form work with the trees they cleared from the site.
We shot the first section of the building one year and returned the following year after the owners moved the form work and excavated the rest of the site.
